Across the globe, as oceans rise and environments struggle, there are teams of champions answering the call to defend eco-systems. Their ambitious goal: not to preserve or restore the environment to a given point in time, but enhance it to thrive beyond an arbitrary historic benchmark. Their mission: to introduce the heroic oyster into systems in disparate need of cleaning. Their obstacles: government, competing interests, ignorance, and of course, money.
